New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Palacsinta, at SE17 was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 1.

And Morleys fried chicken, at 10, Peckham High Street, London was given a score of two on March 1.

It means that of Southwark's 463 takeaways with ratings, 250 (54%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
