Food hygiene ratings given to two Southwark restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Southwark’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Boro bistro, at 6-10, Borough High Street, Basement Bank Chambers was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 31.

And Eatalia cafe, at 94, Bermondsey Street, London was also given a score of three on May 31.

It means that of Southwark's 942 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 636 (68%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
