Road closures: one for Richmond drivers this week

Drivers in and around Richmond will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

And it is expected to cause severe delays – with motorists facing a holdup of at least 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is due to start this week:

• M4, from midnight, September 17 to 11.59pm October 12, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, 24/7 Lane closure for Structure works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
