Richmond road closures: one for motorists to avoid this week

Richmond's motorists will have a road closure to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And it is expected to cause severe delays – with drivers facing a wait of at least half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 5am September 27 to 10pm October 22, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 3 to junction 1, 24/7 Lane closure for Structure works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
