New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Richmond’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Ma Cuisine Bistro, at 8 Station Approach, Kew was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 20.

And Thai Park, at 231 Powder Mill Lane, Twickenham was also given a score of five on September 6.

It means that of Richmond's 454 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 304 (67%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
