Food hygiene ratings given to two Richmond restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Richmond’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Richmond’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Kathmandu Tandoori, at 25 York Street, Twickenham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 13.

And Taj Mahal, at 9 Petersham Road, Richmond was given a score of one on June 13.

It means that of Richmond's 436 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 293 (67%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
