New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Richmond’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Rice Mill, at 40 York Street, Twickenham was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 31.

And Green Bottle Cafe, at 37 Crown Road, Twickenham was given a score of three on January 31.

It means that of Richmond's 440 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 292 (66%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
