A Redbridge takeaway has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Cakes & Bakes, a takeaway at 108 Ilford Lane, Ilford was given the minimum score after assessment on May 19, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Redbridge's 197 takeaways with ratings, 98 (50%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
