Redbridge road closures: three for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight

Redbridge's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M11, from 10pm February 19 to 5am February 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 southbound, junction 5 to junction 4, Lane and link road closure for urgent carriageway repairs, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

• M11, from 10pm February 20 to 5am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closure for emergency electrical works.

• M11, from 10pm March 2 to 5.30am March 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A406 northbound to M11 northbound, junction 4 link road, link road closure for bridge jacking, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
