Redbridge road closures: four for motorists to avoid this week

Redbridge's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:

• M11, from 10pm February 27 to 5am February 28, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 southbound, junction 5 to junction 4, Lane closures and link road closure for CAT1 parapet repair, diversion via TFL roads.

• M11, from 10pm March 1 to 5am March 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 southbound, junction 5 to junction 4, lane two closure for structural works.

• M11, from 10pm March 1 to 5am March 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M11 northbound, junction 4 to junction 5, entry slip road closure for barrier works, diversion via local authority roads and National Highways network.

• M11, from 10pm March 6 to 5am March 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M11 northbound, junction 4 to junction 5, Lane closure for barrier repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
