New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Redbridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Metro Cafe, at 500 High Road, Ilford was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 28.

And Ilford Coffee House, at Ground Floor Front Left, 325-331 High Road, Ilford was given a score of three on November 28.

It means that of Redbridge's 359 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 215 (60%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
