New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Redbridge’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mandarin Palace Restaurant, at 559-561 Cranbrook Road, Ilford was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 8.

And Khyber Grill, at 765-767 High Road, Goodmayes was given a score of three on March 8.

It means that of Redbridge's 362 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 221 (61%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
