158 further coronavirus cases and three more deaths recorded in Redbridge
The number of coronavirus cases in Redbridge increased by 158 in the last 24 hours, official figures show – and three more deaths were recorded.
A total of 48,556 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 in Redbridge when the UK coronavirus daily dashboard was updated on November 11 (Thursday), up from 48,398 on Wednesday.

Hide AdThe rate of infection in Redbridge now stands at 15,886 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 14,183.
Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 42,401 over the period, to 9,448,402.
There were also three more coronavirus deaths recorded in the latest 24-hour period in Redbridge.
The dashboard shows 783 people had died in the area by November 11 (Thursday) – up from 780 on Wednesday.

Hide AdIt means there have been four deaths in the past week, which is an increase on two the previous week.
They were among 16,859 deaths recorded across London.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Redbridge.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death.
The figures also show that three in five people in Redbridge have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Hide AdThe latest figures show 182,961 people had received both jabs by November 10 (Wednesday) – 61% of those aged 12 and over, based on the number of people on the National Immunisation Management Service database.
Across England, 80% of people aged 12 and above had received a second dose of the jab.
Unlike at local level, the national rate was calculated using mid-2020 population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
