A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Royal, a takeaway at 61 Vicarage Lane, Stratford, London was given the score after assessment on October 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 330 takeaways with ratings, 148 (45%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
