A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mona Foods Chaat House, a takeaway at 253 Green Street, Forest Gate, London was given the score after assessment on August 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 331 takeaways with ratings, 147 (44%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
