A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

FFC Fardeen Fried Chicken, a takeaway at 52 Hermit Road, Canning Town, London was given the score after assessment on June 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 330 takeaways with ratings, 142 (43%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
