A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mona Foods Chaat House, a takeaway at 25a Oakdale Road, Forest Gate, London was given the score after assessment on March 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 323 takeaways with ratings, 115 (36%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
