A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Lotus Leaf, a takeaway at 209 The Balcony, Westfield Stratford City, Montfichet Road, Stratford was given the score after assessment on March 27, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 323 takeaways with ratings, 115 (36%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
