A Newham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

New World, a takeaway at 410 Barking Road, Plaistow, London was given the score after assessment on December 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 303 takeaways with ratings, 127 (42%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
