A Newham takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Pengest Munch/The Bank Of Fried Chicken, a takeaway at 64 Prince Regent Lane, Plaistow, London was given the score after assessment on November 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 304 takeaways with ratings, 124 (41%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
