A Newham takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Pam Pam Diner, a takeaway at 105 Woodgrange Road, Forest Gate, London was given the maximum score after assessment on November 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 310 takeaways with ratings, 124 (40%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
