A Newham restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Palwan Biryani, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 47 Upton Lane, Forest Gate, London was given the score after assessment on January 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 615 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 377 (61%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
