A Newham restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Royal Chef, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 223 High Street North, East Ham, London was given the score after assessment on June 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 571 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 317 (56%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
