A Newham restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Coffee Palace, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 1 Prince Regent Lane, Plaistow, London was given the score after assessment on February 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 526 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 287 (55%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
