A Newham drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Black Lion, a pub, bar or nightclub at Black Lion Public House, 59-61 High Street, Plaistow, London was given the score after assessment on March 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newham's 58 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 37 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
