New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Naga Hut, at 22 Plashet Grove, East Ham, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 27.

And Andys Buffet Restaurant, at 59 - 61 Barking Road, Canning Town, London was given a score of one on January 28.

It means that of Newham's 582 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 349 (60%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
