New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Moon Coffee, at 681 Romford Road, Manor Park, London was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 31.

And TGF Pizza And Chapandaaz Restaurant, at 399 Barking Road, East Ham, London was given a score of one on January 31.

It means that of Newham's 525 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 287 (55%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
