New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Papa's, at 377 Green Street, Upton Park, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 29.

And Double Blessing Network (DBN) Limited, at 13 High Street South, East Ham, London was given a score of four on November 2.

It means that of Newham's 341 takeaways with ratings, 151 (44%) have ratings of five and just five have zero ratings.
