New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chutney Indian Takeaway, at 517 Barking Road, East Ham, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 20.

And New Lucky Star Chinese Takeaway, at 337 Barking Road, East Ham, London was given a score of two on February 20.

It means that of Newham's 318 takeaways with ratings, 130 (41%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
