Food hygiene ratings given to two Newham takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Papis Chicken & Karachi Biryani & Karahi Corner, at 151 Balaam Street, Plaistow, London was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 12.

And Mummy Yum, at 34 West Ham Lane, Stratford, London was given a score of zero on July 12.

It means that of Newham's 324 takeaways with ratings, 120 (37%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
