New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chicken N That, at 54a Expressway Studios, North Woolwich Road, Silvertown, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 3.

And SmashBurgers Ldn, at 54a Expressway Studios, North Woolwich Road, Silvertown, London was also given a score of three on February 3.

It means that of Newham's 308 takeaways with ratings, 106 (34%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
