New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Jones X 3 Mills Ltd, at Three Mills Studios, Three Mill Lane, Stratford, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 4.

And Italian Coffee, at 787 Romford Road, Manor Park, London was given a score of two on August 7.

It means that of Newham's 596 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 367 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
