Food hygiene ratings given to two Newham restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Plaistow Cafe, at 163 Plaistow Road, Stratford, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 16.

And Cosy Cafe, at 5 Chadwin Road, Plaistow, London was given a score of two on November 16.

It means that of Newham's 565 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 330 (58%) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
