A Merton takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Xu Sheng, a takeaway at 76 Monarch Parade, London Road, Mitcham was given the score after assessment on June 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 126 takeaways with ratings, 72 (57%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
