A Merton restaurant has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Divine Provision Caribbean Cuisine, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 174 Chestnut Grove, Mitcham was given the score after assessment on February 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 472 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 374 (79%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
