A Merton restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Merton restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

AFIA Cuisine, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Shop, 21 Upper Green East, Mitcham was given the score after assessment on December 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 453 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 353 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
