A Merton restaurant has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Sushi Essence, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 115a Merton Road, London was given the score after assessment on November 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 216 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 197 (91%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
