A Merton restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Hand in Hand, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Pub, 6-9 Crooked Billet, Wimbledon was given the maximum score after assessment on November 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 488 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 396 (81%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
