A Merton restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Merton restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Britannia Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 17 Lyon Road, South Wimbledon, London was given the maximum score after assessment on December 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Merton's 454 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 352 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
