Good news as food hygiene ratings given to two Merton restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Tea Rose Cafe, at 210 Merton High Street, Colliers Wood, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 16.

And First Little Steps, at 379 London Road, Mitcham was also given a score of five on October 13.

It means that of Merton's 457 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 354 (77%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
