New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Old Rutlishians Association, at Poplar Road, Wimbledon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 17.

And South London Irish Association, at 140 Hartfield Road, Wimbledon, London was also given a score of five on November 17.

It means that of Merton's 69 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 51 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
