Food hygiene ratings given to two Merton restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Pawelek Coffee Shop & Ice Cream Ltd, at 335-335a London Road, Mitcham was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 17.

And By The Horns Plough Lane, at Afc Wimbledon, Plough Lane, Tooting, London was given a score of one on May 17.

It means that of Merton's 471 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 373 (79%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
