Food hygiene ratings given to two Merton restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Merton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

La Farina, at 183 Haydons Road, South Wimbledon, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 4.

And MED cafe, at The 1929 Shop, 18 Watermill Way, Colliers Wood, London was given a score of one on May 4.

It means that of Merton's 450 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 340 (76%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
