Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Lewisham takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Subway, at Ground Floor Unit, 83 Sydenham Road, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 30.

And Subway, at Subway - Catford, Shell Petrol Station, 360 Verdant Lane, London was also given a score of five on November 2.

It means that of Lewisham's 344 takeaways with ratings, 135 (39%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
