Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 12 Lewisham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Lewisham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to nine restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Little Cake Garden at SE6 ; rated on January 30

• Rated 5: From The Grill Ltd at SE13; rated on January 29

• Rated 5: Anthea's Kitchen at SE6 ; rated on January 26

• Rated 5: Rock My Bowl at SE4 ; rated on January 26

• Rated 5: Rockbourne Youth Club at 41a Rockbourne Road, Forest Hill, London; rated on January 23

• Rated 5: Aloosh Restaurant at 397 New Cross Road, London; rated on January 13

• Rated 5: Top Fried Chicken at 187 Brockley Road, Crofton Park, London; rated on January 13

• Rated 5: Cream-Inn at SE6 ; rated on January 12

• Rated 5: 7Burgers at 315 New Cross Road, London; rated on December 6
