New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Selim Kebab, at 26 Sydenham Road, London was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 11.

And London Agege Bread Bakers Ltd, at London Agege Bread Bakers Limited, 32 Deptford High Street, London was given a score of two on July 11.

It means that of Lewisham's 337 takeaways with ratings, 143 (42%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
