Food hygiene ratings given to two Lewisham restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Georges Cafe, at 199 Brockley Road, Crofton Park, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 13.

And METROSE, at Hifive, 30-30a Lee High Road, London was given a score of three on January 12.

It means that of Lewisham's 621 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 333 (54%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
