New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Grand Maghreb, at 66 Lee High Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 22.

And London Sivan Kovil, at 4a Clarendon Rise, Hither Green, London was given a score of two on November 22.

It means that of Lewisham's 619 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 347 (56%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
