New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lewisham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Original Jerk Bites Ltd, at 235 Bromley Road, London was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 20.

And NO 1 Cafe & Kebabs, at 1 Stanstead Road, Catford, London was given a score of one on September 20.

It means that of Lewisham's 619 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 361 (58%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
