New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Lambeth’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

The Pigs Head, at 87 Rectory Grove, London, London was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 9.

And Aji Bakery Cafe, at County Hall Riverside Building, Westminster Bridge Road, London was also given a score of five on November 8.

It means that of Lambeth's 662 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 334 (50%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
